Rolling Stones Outtake Featuring Keith Richards & Kristi Kimsey on Vocals

“Let’s Go Steady” was recorded In late January or early February of 1979, while the Rolling Stones were at Compass Point Studios, Nassau, Bahamas working on songs for the Emotional Rescue album. The song was originally recorded by Sam Cooke (as “Let’s Go Steady Again”) for a B-side for his song “Only Sixteen” from 1959.

The Rolling Stones version features a wonderful duet-style vocal from Keith Richards and Kristi Kimsey (producer Chris Kimsey s wife).
