2nd February 2021 will see the release of Lucky Bamba’s latest single ‘Paradise’ – co-written & produced with Chris Kimsey [The Rolling Stones] and Charles Monneraud [Dermot Kennedy, Joy Crookes].
Born in Buenos Aires, Lucky Bamba began playing the piano aged 6 which then led him to master the bass, drums & guitar. Lucky then moved to London in 2018 to pursue his career in music following his studies at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Speaking on the release Lucky Bamba explains “The song speaks about the feeling of nostalgia/sorrow when a couple is ‘forced’ to go separate ways during their regular day. The concept of ‘Paradise’ does not refer to the common idea of a perfect/unachievable place, but rather to the every-day pleasures you share with the one you love (drinking coffee together, holding hands, walking in the park etc). Working with Chris Kimsey & Charles Monneraud was such a great experience as we were able to mix a classic sound with new & fresh energy.”
Stay tuned for the official music video which features actress Rosie Day who has previously appeared in the TV series, Outlander. [coming out soon]
